Moat Boat Paddle Battle At World Maker Faire

We are excited to announce that we will be holding the second running of the Moat Boat Paddle Battle at Maker Faire New York this Sept 26-27. After the huge success of MBPB at the Bay Area Maker Faire, we can’t wait to see what the east coast brings to the troughs!

There will be two classes for contestants to compete in: Youth Closed (15 and under) and Open Class (all ages). Please visit the Rules page for further details about each class. Youth class racers may choose to enter the Open class also if they want to. The moats will be open all weekend for teams to try their boats, but the races themselves will occur on Sunday Sept 27th.

We are over the moon that our sponsors SeeMeCNC are with us again, offering their amazing Orion Delta and Rostock Max 3D printers as prizes for this tournament.

To participate, you must register your boat for the event in advance – no walk up teams will be allowed to race. Registration does not include your admittance to Maker Faire.  Tickets can be purchased at MakerFaire.com. Use this link to register your boat.
